SPRAGUE PULSE
WEEK OF FEBRUARY 12, 2024
Letter from the Co-Presidents

Hello Spraguewell!

What a beautiful weather weekend, hoping everyone had time to get outside to enjoy!

This week is going to be bittersweet as we bid Hunnewell goodbye as they leave for their new school. We are hoping you can join in a all school assembly for them on Wednesday at 11:15 in the gym.

Happy Valentines Day!

Best, Rose & Wendy

WHAT'S HAPPENING
THANK YOU FROM THE HUNNEWELL COMMUNITY

The Hunnewell Community would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for hosting our students over the past school year and a half. The Sprague staff, teachers, students, and parents have welcomed us with such kindness and our students have flourished in this home away from home. At Sprague our kids have enjoyed learning and participating in your school traditions such as Fall Fest, the book fair, hat day, Walk to school days (with footies!),  and much more.

We appreciate the community coming together as One Wellesley to support us!

Thank you so much!

Sincerely,

Hunnewell Students, Parents, Teachers & Staff

SHOPPERS CORNER AT SCHOFIELD

Did you know Shopper’s Corner is a unique resale shop located right in the basement of Schofield Elementary School?  The shop sells new and gently used clothing and accessories from infant through adult.

Not only do they promote sustainability, their prices are rock bottom: items start at $1 and most are less than $5!

The store is open during the school year every Wednesday that school is in session from 8:30am to 12:15pm and the first Saturday of most months from 9am to 11am.

SPRAGUE SPRING AUCTION

Looking for a way to help? In addition to gift card donations from local shops and restaurants, we are still seeking Corporate Sponsors for the Auction

Please consider reaching out to your company to ask if they would like to support Sprague!

The town of Hamelin has a rat problem, and there's only one person who can help! CactusHead Puppets brings the story of the Pied Piper to life in this kid-friendly comedic adaptation of the traditional folktale.
