SPRAGUEWELL FUN RUN & WALK - THANK YOU!

Greetings Sprague/Hunnewell,

BIG congratulations for our first (of hopefully many!) Fun Run/Walk! What a wonderful community building event- and I entered into the Thanksgiving break with my heart full. Special thanks to Liz Cheron for pulling together so many details (coordinating all the volunteers, problem solving a switch to indoors and adding fun touches to the event). Thank you, as well, to all of the parent volunteers who collected food donations, walked and ran during the event, and transported our donations to Wellesley Food Pantry! It brought a tear to my eye to see adults and kids walking, talking, laughing and running together. So very proud of the 500+ items of food that we donated as a community to the Wellesley Food Pantry. That donation alone helped a great number of people in need. Looking forward to building on all our successes for next year!

All the best, Ms. Flitsch

Word Play" uses clowning and puppetry to take audiences on an adventure through the alphabet. Words come to life in the hands of two skilled performers, who clown around with sounds and letters to create dozens of interactive characters and imaginative scenes. Audiences can make friends with vowels, teach tricks to a “C-A-T” and “D-O-G,” and visit a whole ZOO full of surprises. It’s the perfect blend of education and entertainment—a play on words, literally!
