SPRAGUE PULSE
WEEK OF OCTOBER 9, 2023

Hello Spraguewell,

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who helped make Fall Fest & Movie Night a total success - delicious and plentiful food, fun and games, Hocus Pocus, and of course, the star of the evening, COTTON CANDY! We hope you all had a fantastic time.

This week, we have FOUR events including twoCAS events (details below), School Picture Day (book your haircuts!), and the Sprague Garden Clean Up. You don't want to miss this chance to get your hands dirty while cleaning. Pro tip: YES, children are welcome, and the Green Team always brings yummy snacks to share. Hope to see you there.

As a reminder, your donations make all of these wonderful events possible, so please donate to the Annual Appeal to keep the good times rolling.

Best,

Rose & Wendy

FALL FEST!

This past Friday we enjoyed another successful Fall Fest.

Special thanks go to our Social Chairs, Dena Giggie, Tanya Johnson, and Ceren Bayulgen, for organizing and coordinating the event.

Fifth Grade parents ran a fantastic and fun costume sale and Cake Walk and our 5th Graders did a wonderful job manning the tables.

Of course, without all of our parent volunteers, none of the fun would be possible!

WGS GREEN TIP OF THE MONTH

Have a GREEN Halloween

You know the scariest part of Halloween? Buying a new costume when there are so many hiding in the back of our closets that have only been worn for a few hours!

Bring Dorothy, Harry Potter, and those Ninja Turtles back to life - you’ll feel good that your closet is cleaner and Mother Nature will thank you for cutting down on waste! Consider donating using the Facebook groups Wellesley Give and Take and/or Buy Nothing Wellesley, MA (must be Wellesley Resident). You can even post an "In Search Of" (ISO) if you are looking for a specific costume. Other options are: RDF Take-It-Or-Leave-It rack, the Schofield Shoppers Corner (open Wed. 8:30-noon) or the Sprague PTO Costume Sale (drop box at 9 Avon Rd) .

Don't wait to donate!!! Questions? contact michelleofoster@aol.com
